Les Jardins de Colette is a 5 ha cotemporary garden set near theChâteau de Caqtel Novel in the town of Varetz, wich was once home to the famous author Colette. A thematic park, wich evokes six regions of France qhere she lived. This garden offers a tour of France, a botanical trip in Colette's footsteps from the her native Burgundy, through Brtittany... to finish in the garden of the Palais Royal in Paris.
In the garden, all the games are giant ! Visitors can become children again, playing hopscotch, dominoes, pick up sticks... or exploring the interactive giant maze shaped like a giant butterfly (5000 m2).
Picnics and dogs are allowed on a leash.
Open from 9 April to6 November:
- In April, October and November: during the Easter and All Saints holidays: open every day from 10am to 6pm. Outside school holidays Easter and All Saints' Day: open from Wednesday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
- In May, June and September: open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
- In July and August: open every day from 10am to 7pm without interruption.
2021 entrance fees: €8.50 per adult, €7 reduced (+60 years old, student, job seeker, disabled person) and €7 for children aged 6 to 17, €5.50 for children aged 3 to 5 and free for children under 3. The entrance fee includes access to the gardens, the maze, the giant games... Guided tour, visit plan, audio guides, shop and tea room. Dogs on a leash are accepted.
Family and children's activities throughout the season.
Animation rates: 9€/adult, 7.50€/reduced rate, free for children under 3 years old.
