The museum is located in the family home of Edmond Michelet, Resistance fighter and statesman (1899-1970). Its field of study and its collections concern the Second World War, the Resistance and the Deportation, in France and in Corrèze. It has an important collection of propaganda posters, which is now the specific heritage of the museum, which has a permanent exhibition and hosts temporary exhibitions. It welcomes the individual and school public, and makes its documentation and archive centre available for any research concerning its field of study.
The museum also organises guided tours of its temporary exhibitions and workshops for children throughout the year.
It also participates in the European Museum Night in May and the European Heritage Days in September. Free admission.
Closed on Sundays and public holidays (except 15 August).
