Le bistrot de Travaillan is the perfect address to recommend to friends who appreciate the conviviality of small country corners. Easy to spot on the departmental road that runs through the village, it's just the thing as you drive through the wine-growing countryside around Orange.
Chez Gégène has the simplicity and authenticity of a rural restaurant. In a cheerful, relaxed atmosphere, Gérard and his daughter Carole welcome regulars and visitors alike to treat them to rustic cuisine with a strong southern accent. House specialties include tripe, stuffed tomatoes, fried mussels and aioli (a must!). The dishes are hearty, the produce is fresh and the wines don't come from far away!
