Basalt columns of Saint-Flour

Saint-Flour has always benefited from an exceptional defensive system
thanks to its natural city walls: the basalt columns. They are characterized by
two lava flows. They can be viewed from the pavement which runs
from the upper to the lower town, and are illuminated at night.
