The quay is punctuated by fairly large villas, open to the sun, with architects playing with geometric variations, both in the general structure and in the decorative details.
The grain silo, which ceased operating when freight traffic on the canal fell in the 1990s, also dates from the inter-war period. Today, a collection of rare trees adorns the banks of the port.
