The region is not only encompassed by fabulous river landscapes but it is also known for its abundance of historical and architectural heritage from ancient castles, abbeys, quaint villages and troglodyte caves!

At the end of the day, you will enjoy spending time by the swimming pool where you can completely unwind, relax and sunbathe. We recommend spending your evening in Montreuil-Bellay (8km / 5m) or Saumur (10km / 6m), both within driving distance, where you can enjoy a large selection of local restaurants for a fine dining experience of the regional specialties and Anjou wines.
Finish your evening at the B&B with a glass of local wine amongst the peaceful setting of the château.
The Common Rooms
Demeure de Beaulieu welcomes you to a number of common areas to socialise with others, amongst your party or simply just for another location to have peace of mind in.
There is a quaint salon with high ceilings and beautiful paintings that is the perfect environment to enjoy cooler nights on sat, by the fireplace conversing or cosied up with a book and a glass of wine.
The breakfast room is bright and sunny. Featuring a triptych painting from a local artist that sets the tone for a discovery of the local area. The greenhouse offers a cozy corner to sit, draw or read amongst luxuriant vegetation

Luxurious, Spacious (En-suite) Bedrooms
Each room offers a unique experience, with a view of the landscaped pond in front and the rose garden at the back of the château. The rooms have all been renovated to embody a unique, welcoming interior (all featuring en-suite bathrooms) enabling you a luxurious space to completely relax in your quarters.

The château can also cater to specific services or themes upon request, such as ‘romantic evenings’ but please make sure to pre-order your special night in advance!
The bedrooms also offer a lovely view of the rose garden, designed by a rose specialist for your viewing pleasures.

There are many comfortable seating areas by the pool, surrounded by vibrant garden, for you and your friends and family to hang together. Alternatively, you will also find serenity at the pond where you can simply sit and enjoy watching the birds as they come and go. Make sure to stroll the castle grounds to discover the many plants and flowers that bloom all year round.

Start your day with breakfast — buffet style, with meats and cheeses, fruits and more. You can also order a lunch basket for your day trip, prepared by your host. Last but not least, order an « Apéro Gourmand » from your host to start your evening before heading out to the night scenery of Saumur.
