In Sort-en-Chalosse, Richard and Karine Commarieu await your visit. For four generations, the farm has had an area dedicated to raising ducks which are then used in foie gras, confits, terrines and pâtés. It also produces Landes yellow chickens and capons. The owners will be delighted to welcome you to their farm in Chalosse so they can share their story with you, in which the tradition of the land blends with a modern farm to offer you a range of products made from ducks that are raised and fattened in the traditional way, with maize grown on site. Karine opens the doors to their lab every afternoon from Monday to Saturday, for cooking classes that vary by season (revisited stews, tapas, duck, and more). The workshop lasts at least two hours and ends with a friendly meal (see the owners for the terms and conditions).
