Restaurant "La Petite Épicerie"

Restaurant "La Petite Épicerie"

Description

Cosy bistro/restaurant/grocery shop in the heart of the historic village of Saorge. Traditional, carefully prepared cuisine which knows how to be creative, using as many local and/or organic ingredients as possible, with short circuit.
As its name suggests, this establishment, which used to be the village bakery, is now a grocery bistro. Here you can eat simple but well-made dishes and, if necessary, buy the basic products of the regional cuisine. It is a friendly place in the centre of the village, with a small terrace and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Sustainable tourism

"Que du bonheur!" In the shadow of a cobbled alleyway, part organic store, part restaurant and part bistro, La Petite Épicerie de Saorge has earned itself a fine reputation. Unanimously voted one of the must-visit addresses in the Roya Valley, it's synonymous with fresh, local produce. Everything is good, simple and hearty! Panisse fries, zucchini flowers from Nice, potatoes from La Brigue, or Georgian plate and strawberries from Carros, as well as saltimbocca, tiramisu and bresaola (Italy is not far away!), make every dish a discovery.
The all-homemade approach, the choice of local ingredients, the pleasure of taste, and the generosity of a family-style cuisine confirm the sincerity of the approach. A well-deserved success!
