Description

This fine sandy beach was one of the key sites of the Provence Landings for the liberation of France in 1944.

This is a wide beach, ideal for family holidays. The beach is supervised by lifeguards from June to September (variable hours depending on season) and you can get there with the free shuttle bus from mid-June to mid-September. You will easily spend the day : morning coffee with your toes in the water when the beach is quiet, then sunbathing and shopping, lunch in one of the beach restaurants, a water sports activity in the afternoon, an ice cream at 4.00 pm… What more could you need !

Practical information : lifeguard station, showers, toilets, blue flag, handiplage, free shuttles/parking fee (depending on season)

Services : shops, restaurants, watersports activities (parachute, pedal boat, buoys…), pier for boat connections to the islands of Port Cros, Porquerolles and Le Levant
