Nœux-les-Auxi is a charming little village nestling at the bottom of a dry valley perpendicular to the Authie. The village square is shaded by linden trees over a hundred years old, and it is around this square that social life is organised, with the school, the town hall and the school accommodation, as well as religious life, with the church and the former presbytery. The village has retained its festive character, with traditional, cultural and nature festivals, the highlight of which is the transhumance to the Riez nature reserve in May.
The route takes in the chapel, the village café, the château, a beautiful Picardy farmhouse, cob buildings and the church. To admire the scenery, walkers can also take advantage of two hiking trails starting from the village and a 12 km loop, the sentier des Capris.
