This former marl (limestone) quarry now serves as a refuge for a number of endangered species.
After the orchids in the spring, summer sees fragrant carpets of thyme and oregano that attract hordes of insects to feed. You can also find the very rare bitter gentian, preserved here thanks to the grazing of the Ouessant and solonge sheep from the conservatory.
Open to the public all year round.
