Classic Car & Caux

"Classic Car & Caux" is located in Doudeville in the area surrounding the Château de Galleville, a listed Historic Monument. With its exceptional historic heritage (Town hall, former wheat hall, manor houses, weavers' houses, etc.), Doudeville, Capital town of flax, is an ideal starting point to explore Normandy.

The holiday cottage is located on a farmyard, typical of the Pays de Caux called a Clos-Masure. The owner, who collects classic cars, has designed a place that combines both country life and love of mechanics. The holiday cottage is a former sheep barn dating back to the 18th century and recently restored. It is now a characterful and comfortable house (140 sq m) which has preserved its old materials: St Jean bricks outside and raw wood inside. It is surrounded by a terrace and a garden planted with trees (1,000 sq m). Garage and workshop available for people travelling by motorbike or classic car.

Sleeping 6 people, the cottage comprises a large sitting room with fireplace and wood-burning stove, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, three bedrooms (1 with a double 160cm and a single bed 90 cm, 1 with a single bed and 1 with a double bed 160cm that can be turned into twin beds) as well as a bathroom.
