The Clock-making Museum is a unique cultural centre in Normandy. Thanks to a new entertaining and interactive tour, it tells the story of clock-making and precision time-keeping, Saint-Nicolas d’Aliermont's original know-how from the 18th century until today. The collections, the historical records, the accounts, the photos and the workshop immerse visitors in the world of timekeeping and in the life of local clock-makers.
More than 400 objects, machines, tools and documents are exhibited to tell you all about Aliermont's human and industrial adventure.
Visiting with family? The museum is accessible to everyone and all ages. It is part of the places awarded the certification "Musée Joyeux" (Joyful Museum) and offers areas and activities dedicated to children. Some are currently closed due to Covid-19. However, there is a special tour designed for younger children.
