Description
Traversez au pied du pont et empruntez la promenade des remparts en longeant le parc Théodore Denis.
Vous vous trouvez sur le rempart romain du IVe s. qui encerclait autrefois toute la ville. Celui-ci constituait autant une barrière militaire, qu’une digue contre les inondations. En effet, certains quartiers comme Saint-Pierre, sont longtemps restés inoccupés, car trop souvent inondés.
