Renovated and made bigger on several occasions since the 12th century, this church is constructed on the site of an old chapel and was classed a historical monument in 1906. It is home to remarkable works of art with its Eucharistic tower and statues. On the hill overlooking the combe where this structure is built once stood a medieval castle from the 12th century, called “Du Champs des Mottes”. It was destroyed in 1691 on Louis XIV’s orders when he took over Franche-Comté.
