6_Argentat©Franck Cordier

Description

In a remarkable area crossed by the River Dordogne and designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, the Corrèze département has launched a large-scale project to restore nature and biodiversity on the site of the former gravel pits at Argentat-sur-Dordogne.
Classified as an Espace Naturel Sensible, this departmental biodiversity reserve now offers an exceptional natural environment, rich in flora and fauna that it is essential to preserve. The site is open to the public to encourage discovery and education about the environment, develop ecotourism, and above all promote a culture of biodiversity.
Listen, look, smell? this place speaks to you!
Interpretation furniture integrated into the natural environment helps to raise awareness by multiplying perceptions.
