Vézières
Description
The town of Vézières has a rich past in the Middle Ages. The first mention dates from 970 «Vicaria» «Vaereciaceusis» then took different names between 1040 and 1383 and finally became Vézières in 1454.
Discover the castle of Montpensier (private site), which will be attached for a very long time to the domain of Coudray located in Seuilly en Indre et Loire. Separated from Coudray at the beginning of the 19th century, Montpensier suffered a fire in 1948 that left only a truncated house. Since 1981 it has been under restoration by the new owners.
