100 million years told by stone Vachères travres to three topics: paleontology, flint, and traces of human occupation in stone.
The remarkable local fossils (plants, insects, birds, mammals) trace the long history of landscape and environment. As to the flint of the valley, the prehistoric have used for millennia, and even exported to the Neolithic. Closer to home, the men made the best use all local resources (limestone, clay, ...).
