Description
Cette première cour de justice royale a été édifiée à Bazas en 1553. En 1729, l’intendant Boucher demanda la construction d’un nouvel édifice « plus convenable pour la commodité du public, celle des officiers et pour la décoration de la ville ». Avec son appareil de pierre de taille et sa parfaite symétrie, la façade
donnant sur la place est l’illustration du style architectural du XVIIIème siècle.
