Description
Fondé au début du XIIe siècle par Gaston IV le Croisé, l’ensemble hospitalier de Lacommande constitue un des très rares exemples de commanderies* encore en élévation avec l’église St Blaise ornée de remarquables sculptures romanes-représentant des scènes bibliques, mythologiques mais aussi la vie quotidienne- et son ancien hôpital, tous deux classés aux Monuments Historiques.
