SAINT-MARTIN BELL TOWER
Description
Reach the top of Saint-Martin Bell Tower, the only remnant of the parish church of Sorèze destroyed during the wars of religion. This tower offers a magnificent view over the Lauragais plain, the Montagne Noire as well as the roofs of Sorèze.
Only the choir of the church was vaulted in a flamboyant Gothic style. The capitals sculpted in high relief are a perfect demonstration of this.
