MUSEE DE LA BELLE EPOQUE
Description
Inaugurated in October 2004, the Musée de la belle époque is a private museum owned by Mr. and Mrs. Lanèque. It presents the objects of daily life and the know-how of the inhabitants of the Côtes de Meuse in the 1900s. Located in an old restored Lorraine house, it is dedicated to daily life: the house, the stable, the forge, the press, the bread oven, the school, the toy exhibition, and the hairdresser's salon,...
On the ground floor is the Lorraine habitat with its kitchen: a real Lorraine fireplace, an authentic water stone with its pump, old-fashioned domestic utensils and many other special features.
