This 13th century church situated next to the medieval city ramparts was classed as a historic monument in 1926.
It was built in Largentière between the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. It was extended up until the 19th century. Inside the church there is a 13th century sarcophagus, a big wooden cross, beautiful 14th century gates, a 15th century pulpit, a statue of Notre Dame made of wood from walnut trees and a 17th century painting of the Assumption. Beware, the skull of the Count of Saillans is looking down on you from his post.
