Abbaye Saint-Martin de Mondaye
Description
The church and monastery form a fine classical architectural group erected in the 18th century by Eustache Restout. Both buildings and site are listed. In the north transept, the Virgin's chapel: sculptured group in terracotta sculpture from Noron la Poterie, by Melchior Verly. Premonstratensian abbey and highly active cultural centre. Group reservation available.
Guided tour at 4 p.m. every day from 01/07 to 31/08 and at 3.30 p.m. on Sundays from 01/09 to 30/06.
