Located 7 kilometres north of the Citadel of Blaye, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the name of Vauban’s fortifications, Château L’Haur du Chay awaits you in the middle of the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux wine region. Sandrine and Mickaël will welcome you to their family winery in a bourgeois manor adjacent to the vineyard facilities in the village of Fours. All year long, they offer guided tours so you can learn about the operations of this winery with its 13 hectares of grapevines. You will begin by admiring the scenery typical of the Blaye region, then enter the fermenting room and the storehouse and finally taste the wines of Château L’Haur du Chay. And if you want to spend more time in this relaxing setting, you can stay at one of the property’s two self-catering cottages, close to the bicycle path.
