Discover Caen's tormented past in June 1944 through a mysterious comic strip to complete.
June 1944. While Caen lives to the rhythm of the bombardments, the inhabitants protect themselves as best they can.
Discover the life of young Colette, a fictional character inspired by the people of Caen at the time. You'll discover how the conflict began, and how it evolved, until Caen was occupied by the Germans, and then the long-awaited Normandy landings. On June 6, 1944, the people of Caen rejoiced. They thought they'd be liberated the next day. But in reality, the battle of Caen would last many long weeks...
In teams, you'll then set off to discover the rest of the story, through the St-Gilles district, guided by a comic strip to complete. This comic strip tells the story of Colette, and of the places frequented by the people of Caen during the Battle of Caen, which you'll then have to reconstruct. At each stage, a game of observation, orientation or deduction allows you to collect clues about the mysterious place where Colette and her family hid during the long summer of 1944.
