Atelier Bois - Cours et stages tous niveaux

Our wood workshop, located at Les Briques in Lion-sur-Mer, offers carpentry courses for all levels, safety training in the use of machine tools, project support (we work with you to create a piece of furniture or a home furnishing project), and estimates for larger projects.

The workshop is equipped with professional machinery (sliding table saw, planer, jointer, band saw, pendulum saw), and electro-portables. Several workbenches complete the space, enabling several people to train together comfortably.

The workshop is run by Jean Bruneau, co-founder of Les Briques and a teacher in a woodworking high school for twelve years, who also designed the interiors of the coliving and coworking facilities and our tea room. He will accompany you in your projects.

We offer two types of training: 3-hour introductory courses for beginners wishing to make their first contact with woodworking; and 8-week, 20-hour courses for beginners or intermediates, during which you will create an object or piece of furniture while learning how to use the machines.

Classes are limited to 4 people to ensure personalized support. You will each have your own workbench and tools, so you can learn in the best possible conditions.

In addition, we also provide individual training in good practice in the use of stationary and electroportative machines.
