Le Chalet Normand

Le chalet normand is a late 19th-century villa ideally located in the center of Houlgate, close to shops and the beach (50m).
The main house (approx. 90m²) is on one level in the rue des bains. On the ground floor, it comprises a large living room with sitting area, dining area and open-plan fitted kitchen + WC
On the second floor, you'll find a bedroom (160cm bed), a bedroom (90cm bunk bed), a bedroom (140cm bed) + bathroom with shower and bath + WC
One room is equipped with a desk with screen, mouse and keyboard for telecommuting. Fiber optic connection for videoconferencing.
A sunny south-facing courtyard, where you can enjoy your meals, separates the main house from a 40m² outbuilding.
If you'd like to bring your au pair or in-laws with you, but still want privacy, the outbuilding offers a fourth bedroom with shower room upstairs, and a ground floor living room with open-plan kitchen and toilet. The downstairs room is also equipped with a teleworking area.
If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet, this is the house for you. As the house is located on Rue des Bains, certain activities can be noisy (concerts, festivals, restaurants, street entertainment, etc.). On the other hand, if you're looking to reduce your carbon footprint, you'll be delighted by our close proximity to all amenities (beach, Mickey's Club, Kite Club, catamaran and paddle rentals, casino, convenience stores, etc.)
To get there, you don't need a car, and once you're there you can walk or cycle (bicycles are available on site)
How to get there by public transport? Take the train to Houlgate, or Deauville or Caen, and then the coach (line 111).
There is also a direct bus service to Deauville, Villers sur mer, Cabourg Honfleur, Caen?
The price includes linen and cleaning at the end of your stay.
Tourist tax and gas consumption in winter (heating) are not included.
