From 3000 years, ships from all over the world sailed down the estuary: Viking boats, tanker boats, gabares, sailors, cruisers, fisher boats. Nowadays, they are mainly cruisers, sailors and small fisher boats. People fishes shrimps, eels, or in the past sturgeons (which are now protected).
Fishing from boats or typical small houses along on the bank of the estuary is an old tradition. It enriches our gastronomy.
