Gîte Chez Jacques et Arlette

Come and recharge your batteries with family or friends in our gîte in the heart of Suisse Normande, on the VéloFrancette and GR® Tour de la Suisse Normande routes.
Our gîte is located in a quiet area of Condé-en-Normandie. Here, every window overlooks greenery: relax on the 30m² south-facing terrace, with views over the hills of our small town. Surrounded by bird-filled trees, the unoverlooked house is ideally located at the end of a cul-de-sac and along a pedestrian lane, surrounded by a 500m² enclosed garden. Whether you're here for a short break or a longer stay, you'll be able to make the most of the area's soft mobility: from the gîte, all the cultural and sporting facilities and shops are within easy reach on foot or by bike.
The carefully decorated 180m² house comprises a large 45m² living area, including entrance hall, living room, dining table and kitchen.
In the entrance hall, you'll find a closet for your jackets, shoes and accessories.
The dining room and kitchen open onto the terrace, where you can barbecue, pick herbs and sunbathe on the deckchairs.
The hallway leads to the separate WC, the bathroom with walk-in shower and double basins, and the three bedrooms. All have 90x200cm beds that can be twinned to form a 180x200cm double. Bedding is hotel-quality. Bed linen and towels provided.
For teleworkers, the gîte is equipped with fiber and a good WIFI connection. Two rooms are equipped with desks and height-adjustable electrical outlets. A computer screen and digital accessories are available on loan.
In the basement, you'll find the laundry room with everything you need for cleaning, washing and drying clothes, as well as childcare equipment: you'll find everything you need for baby (high chair, changing table, bathtub, cot, unbreakable crockery, potty...).
The garage leads to the workshop, where you can repair your bicycles.
If you don't have any plans, you'll find plenty to keep you busy at the gîte.. Enjoy yourself! Pick up a good book! Learn more about the area! The buffet will reveal its treasures to you: a library for all ages, educational and board games, puzzles for young and old, tourist information, books on the history of the town and Normandy... not forgetting the games of racquets, pétanque, table soccer and table tennis in the basement, which has been transformed into a games room. Leave the car in the parking lot: your children will love staying here? and you too?
Private parking space. Free parking directly opposite the gîte. Garage for motorcycles or bicycles. Electric vehicle charging station in the gîte courtyard (extra charge: invoiced according to kwh consumed).
And if you're feeling restless, from the gîte you can walk to the town center, and 200 m away is the local park with a lake (fishing allowed), swimming pool, tennis courts, playground and petanque area. The pretty little country roads will take you to some breathtaking must-see sites: La Roche d'Oëtre, the Orne Valley from Pont d'Ouilly to Clécy, the Route des Crêtes. The D-Day landing beaches are 1 hour away, and Mont Saint Michel, 1 hour 30.
