Église à clocher trinitaire de Gotein
Description
Gotein's Romanesque church is dedicated to Saint-André.
Partly destroyed during the Wars of Religion, it was rebuilt with a three-gabled bell tower, commonly known as the "Trinitarian bell tower". Discoidal steles, funerary monuments found in Basque cemeteries, can be seen to the right of the external staircase leading to the gallery, added in the 17th century. Listed as a Historic Monument since 1924.
