LES IMPÉRIALES #2
As Emperor of the French, Napoleon decided on 5 April XII that the capital of the Vendée department would be moved from Fontenay-le-Comte to La Roche-sur-Yon. As a result, La Roche-sur-Yon became "Napoléon Vendée", to the indifference of the people of Yonnais and the anger of the people of Fontenay. When the Emperor visited La Roche-sur-Yon, he was warned that an attempt was being made on his life.
But when the 'terrorist' was arrested, instead of the infernal machines that had been expected, the Emperor and his retinue discovered unexpected machinations... They had not seen the last of their surprises.
