Eglise Sainte-Madeleine

Under the small porch, the portal is original, with colonnettes supporting the voussoirs which fall on a frieze-chapiteau composed of hooks and flower buds. The church was remodeled in the 18th century, as evidenced by the date 1766 engraved on the semi-circular arch at the entrance to the choir. The church is dedicated to Sainte Madeleine.
The central panel is adorned with a painting by François II Finet, an Aubusson painter from 1751. It depicts Ste-Madeleine pénitente and the conversion of St-Paul on the road to Damascus. The side bays of the altarpiece, topped by a triangular pediment, are decorated with 16 panels on 3 levels.
