Watercolourist Claude Allègre, in partnership with the municipality, Lecture et loisirs and the library, and with the help of Paul Upali Gouëllo and Bikas Gurung, invites the public to discover Nepal through paintings, dances and personal accounts in the Transfo auditorium.
Sublimated by colour, Claude Allègre's portraits of here and elsewhere are full of life and sincerity.
"During my travels, I discovered Nepal and its still authentic population, thanks to the kindness of a high mountain guide, Bikas Gurung, an unrivalled man, in love with his country and ready to share it with enthusiasm. I had some fabulous adventures with him and members of his family. I would like to thank them very much. The three of us decided, through numerous sketches made on the spot and watercolours done in the studio afterwards, to share some fabulous moments, combining our skills for a marvellous adventure. Paul will make you dream through dance, while Bikas will talk passionately about his country, while you will feel immersed in this travel atmosphere through the projection of sketches, watercolours, photos and videos.
