Visite guidée : Le printemps des cimetières - "Sur les traces des femmes illustres de notre ville"
Description
Meet us at the entrance to the cemetery for a tour of the filles de l'Union Chrétienne, a convent founded in Fontenay-le-Comte in 1680. Historically, the nuns were responsible for teaching girls from good families, then, following the secularization laws, the congregation became a care establishment. Several dozen nuns are now buried at Notre-Dame.
