L’O.C.A. est une initiative de la Société royale des Cercles des Naturalistes de Belgique asbl. Il abrite un télescope de 610 mm d’ouverture, parmi les plus puissants de Belgique. Une des 6 coupoles du site, spécialement aménagée pour les personnes à mobilité réduite: «l’Accessible Etoile», accueille des personnes présentant un handicap moteur ou mental, lourd ou léger. Une première belge !
