Description
En 1858, les apparitions de la Vierge à Bernadette Soubirous au pied du rocher de Massabielle bouleversent la vie de cette bourgade de 3000 habitants. Aujourd’hui, haut lieu de spiritualité, la ville accueille chaque année plus de 6 millions de visiteurs. Lourdes vous attirera également par son riche passé dont le fleuron reste le château fort, ancienne résidence des Comtes de Bigorre au XIième siècle, classée aujourd’hui monument historique. La forteresse abrite depuis 1921 le musée d’arts et traditions populaires le plus important des Pyrénées.
