Description
Réhabilitée depuis 15 ans, cette ancienne carrière de pierre du XIIème siècle est aujourd’hui classée en zone du patrimoine architectural. Le liais de Carrières permit, entre autres, l’édification de la basilique de Saint-Denis et du pont de Neuilly. Les champignonnistes prirent le relais et firent de cette petite ville la capitale européenne du champignon de Paris ! Aujourd’hui c’est un lieu culturel dédié aux amoureux de la sculpture et de la taille de pierre.
