La Marne et la borne de l'écluse de Courtaron

Description
La rive gauche de la Marne est bordée par un chemin de halage qui permettait autrefois aux chevaux (et parfois aux hommes) de remonter les péniches.
Le long du chemin de halage se trouve la borne indiquant l'écluse de Courtaron un kilomètre plus loin. Cette borne témoigne des travaux pour améliorer la navigabilité de la Marne qui eurent lieu à la fin du Second Empire.
