Follow Elise to the heart of Harlem, the home of jazz. The French expat will introduce you to the architectural, musical and artistic wealth of this popular New York neighbourhood!
Retrace the footsteps of Louis Armstrong, discover the jazz influences of this neighbourhood and Harlem's most legendary clubs. Elise will tell you all about local iconic figures, including Duke Ellington and Malcolm X.
You'll explore the streets of the neighbourhood, which are characterized by their mix of graffiti, Brownstone houses and numerous churches. At the end of your visit, Elise will suggest attending a gospel mass in the evening!

* This activity may be booked by groups of 4 to 10 people only. The service provider reserves the right to cancel the tour if there are not enough participants. In this case you will be offered a refund or an alternative date
* During this tour, you will cover around 7km (4.3 miles) on foot
* If Elise is unavailable, this tour will be covered by Julie or Cathy, two French women living in New York
* At the end of the visit, you can attend a gospel mass at the Abyssinian Church (7pm) or Bethel Gospel Assembly (6:45pm). Smart dress is required: no backpack, no open shoes and shoulders must be covered. Admission is free
Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
