GET ON BOARD A GONDOLA AND TAKE PART IN ONE OF VENICE'S MOST POPULAR EVENTS: THE REGATA STORICA.
Every year on the first Sunday in September, the Regata Storica celebrates the arrival of the Queen of Cyprus, Caterina Cornaro, in Venice in 1489. The Regata Storica competitions are preceded by a magnificent parade of ships, the Corteo Storico, with gondoliers dressed in16th-century costumes.
From your gondola, you will admire the colourful parade along the Grand Canal. Stops are planned so that you can discover the traditional boats in the lagoon. Prepare to enjoy a vivid display of Venice's traditional customs from your gondola!

* Availability: the Regata Storica, September 4th, 2016
* Departure: Campo Santa Maria del Giglio
* This annual event takes place on the first Sunday in September
* Your gondola trip will enable you to see the parade from the gondola, but you will not take part in the parade
* Please wear comfortable walking shoes
* The position of your seat on the gondola is not predetermined: the gondolier will decide this by taking into account the weight of passengers
* A minimum of 4 people are required to book this activity
* When you arrive you will receive a document with comprehensive information about the event
* Each gondola has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers. If there are more than 6 in your party, additional gondolas will be provided
Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
