Day Trip to Heidelberg and Rothenburg – Departing from Frankfurt

Spend a day travelling down Germany’s Romantic Road to visit two quaint and picturesque towns: Heidelberg and Rothenburg
SET OFF FROM FRANKFURT ON A BUS EXCURSION TO THE PICTURESQUE TOWNS OF HEIDELBERG AND ROTHENBURG.
The first destination of the day is Heidelberg, one of the most romantic city’s in Germany.
Accompanied by your guide, you’ll visit the Heidelberg Castle, which is the property of the heirs to Empress Sissi. Walk through the streets lined with pink ochre buildings and admire Germany’s oldest university.
The excursion will then continue to Rothenburg, the best preserved Medieval town in Germany. Wander through the town to discover its 13th-century ramparts, timber-frame houses and quaint streets, which all feature architecture untouched since the Renaissance!
You will have some free time in Rothenburg to visit its museums or sample a Schneeball (“snowball”), a local sweet pastry, before returning to Frankfurt at the end of the day.

* A packed lunch will be provided (included in the price)
* The lunch menu is not available in advance and will be communicated to you on the day
* The bus returns to central Frankfurt for around 7pm
* Please arrive 15 minutes early
* A minimum of 3 participants is required for the activity to take place
Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
