ENJOY A DAY TRIP TO THE HEART OF THE PROVENCAL BACKCOUNTRY, VISIT THE FAMOUS LAVENDER FIELDS, AND LEARN THE SECRET BEHIND THE REGION'S HALLMARK PRODUCE!
Set off in a minibus to visit the Plateaux de Valensole and its vast lavender fields. The morning continues with a tour of a traditional distillery where you can discover the production process of lavender essence.
You will then head to the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, famous for its craft pottery, where you will have free time to explore the village and go for lunch where you please.
After lunch, the excursion carries on to the Verdon Gorge river. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Sainte Croix and the Verdon Gorge, then visit Sainte-Croix de Verdon village, perched just above the lake, another superb vantage point for contemplating the landscape below.
At the end of the day your driver will take you back to Aix en Provence.
