In the centre of Mazamet, on the first floor of this beautiful 19th century residence, the Cathar Museum will help you to understand the tragic story of the Cathars.
Follow the thread of history in the footsteps of good men and women Cathars, discover their beliefs and rituals.
A richly illustrated museum tour, based on the history of the medieval village of Hautpoul and supplemented with sound atmospheres and videos.
Possibility to visit Hautpoul in addition or workshops for children.
Animations, temporary exhibitions, guided tours throughout the year.
