Fully integrated to the second railway lines of local interest built under Departemental Bridges and Roads Chief Engineer Louis Harel de la Noë, the line "Guildo-Saint-Briac (Brittany, 35) was declared of public interest March 28, 1912. Designed to create a link with the Ille-et-Vilaine département and the tramway St-Briac-Dinard, this line was opened to operation in 1926 (Le-Guildo-Lancieux) and 1932 (Lancieux-St-Briac).
