Born in 1950 in the village of Aix-en-Othe, Patrick Léon was raised by his grandparents in an unpretentious environment. Very early on, he developed an interest in painting and art in general and began to create portraits, landscapes in his own corner, the beginnings of a passion that would never leave him.
Having to give up integrating fine arts, his family not allowing him, he nevertheless continued to paint, very quickly orienting his style towards abstract and color. A style that will lead him to meet other artists such as Philippe Tykoczinski or Guy Péqueux, the latter providing him with professional advice.
His influence will take Patrick's work to another level, but it is in self-didactic that he will refine his art, constantly renewing himself, evolving both on the type of support, as well as on the technique, developing his universe, always richer and more varied, vibrant and dreamlike.
