Grand'Place de Saint-Amand-Les-Eaux
Description
La Grand'Place dans le centre ville de Saint-Amand est marquée par deux monuments conséquents. Le premier, à l'entrée de cette place correspond au pavillon d'entrée de l'ancienne abbaye, fondée par le moine Amand au VIIème siècle. Il abritait l'échevinage, lieu de réunion pour les échevins (officiers publics). Le second est la tour Abbatiale, mesurant 100 mètres de haut, qui constitue un vestige de l'Abbaye.
