Below Château Moncade, this lake allows a 2.2 km long walk. It is an ideal place for fishing and has a picnic area and facilities for the handicapped.
Today, more than 250 native trees have been planted around the lake. Insect shelters, nesting boxes and species identification signs have also been integrated into the site.
In terms of wildlife present on the site, you will come across ducks present in large numbers, but also egrets, grey herons and many other species.
Take the Coudane path to discover the arborétum and reach the Château Moncade, a keep which is a vestige of the castle of Gaston Fébus.
