LPO Aquitaine - observation des oiseaux à Iraty
Description
As of 15/07, LPO Aquitaine is conducting a migration survey on the Col d'Organbidexka, an obligatory passage for migratory birds on their way to wintering grounds.
From 07/15 to 11/15, we're offering you the chance to become an ecovolunteer: to spot and identify migratory birds (no ornithological skills required), integrate these results into the database and welcome visitors to the Maison de l'Ornithologie and raise their awareness of the migration phenomenon. We offer you a tailor-made training course, immersed alongside passionate observers!
From mid-July to mid-September, we welcome young and old to the Maison de l'Ornithologie, a stone's throw from the Col d'Organbidexka and the Iraty chalets: exhibition on migration and Iraty's biodiversity, activities to discover migratory birds, a cabinet of curiosities. Free admission.
