Built on a Gallo-Roman site, this bastide town was founded by Henry III of England in 1280. St André Church dating back to the 12th century and old houses, including two fortified buildings, are still visible. The Hall, inspired by
Gustave Eiffel’s work, was built at the turn of the 20th century on the site of an old hall from 1560.
